AI image upscaler for Etsy and print-on-demand sellers: enlarge a photo or design 2x or 4x, keep a transparent PNG background, and download a sharper, print-ready file.

Studio tools need a free account. It takes a minute, no card needed: you get 50 credits a month for Studio and AI, and 10 Etsy lookups a day.
Transparent PNG: the background stays see-through, so the picture type does not matter.

A design that looks crisp as a thumbnail can turn soft and blocky once it is stretched across a print area or a full-size listing photo. Ordinary resizing only spreads the existing pixels further apart. This AI image upscaler enlarges a picture 2x or 4x with an AI upscaling model that adds detail as it goes, so outlines stay sharp and textures read as texture rather than blur. It is built for Etsy and print-on-demand sellers who need to increase image resolution from the file they already have, without redrawing anything.
Tell the tool what you are uploading so the model treats it the right way:
Print-on-demand files are typically prepared at 300 DPI, so the pixel count sets the largest size a design can print cleanly. A 12 x 16 inch print area needs 3,600 x 4,800 px. An AI-generated design often arrives at about 1,024 px, which covers only about 3.4 inches at 300 DPI. As an example, upscaling a 1,024 x 1,024 px design 4x gives 4,096 x 4,096 px, roughly 13.6 inches at 300 DPI and wide enough for a 12 inch print area. Listing photos follow the same logic: Etsy recommends at least 2000 px on the shortest side, which makes this a practical image upscaler for Etsy product shots that were cropped tightly or saved small.
If you need to upscale a PNG with a transparent background, the transparency is kept and the result is a transparent PNG, ready for a shirt or sticker design. A JPG stays a JPG. Uploads can be PNG, JPG or WebP files of up to about 5 MB, and results go up to 8,000 px on the longer side and 36 megapixels. The tool needs a free account and runs on credits: 2x costs 6 and 4x costs 12, taken from the 50 credits a free account gets each month. Upscaling cannot bring back a detail that was never in the picture, so start from the cleanest version you have, and only upload images you own or have permission to use.
To upscale an image, choose 2x or 4x, pick the picture type and upload the file. The larger version is ready in about one to two minutes and is saved to your Studio history.
From the history you can download the file or send it on: to the Print file and DPI checker to confirm it covers the print area at 300 DPI, or to the Mockup generator to place it on a product. A picture already at 8,000 px on the longer side or 36 megapixels is not enlarged further; that run is refused and the credits come back, just as they do whenever a run fails.
